Candida Issues

Candida IssuesCandida Issues

Candida is caused by Candida albicans, a fungus found in everyone’s body in the digestive system, oral cavity, vagina..etc.  This fungus seeks for a “shelter” in the intestines, and the good bacteria keep it under control.

The overgrowth occurs when the number of fungus in the digestive system increases, due to the beneficial bacteria not able to keep it in under control.  Diet can really help keeping the number of fungi in normal range. Candida can spread in the body through out and move between organs. Candida feeds off sugar, which is why many of the yeast cleanses restrict sugar.  This can be a very frustrating diet, as these fungus will start to die off and you will crave sugars so to feed them.

The brain is the organ that is most frequently affected by Candida Symptoms, but it also have effects on these areas as well

  • digestive
  • nervous
  • cardiovascular
  • respiratory
  • reproductive
  • urinary
  • endocrine
  • lymphatic

People with Digestive Problems, turning into Chronic Digestive Issues
High level of candida in their digestive system, low levels of beneficial bacteria and low levels in their systemic circulation. These clients have symptoms such as sluggish and fatigue and have “general” digestive issues. Long term as the candida spreads to their circulatory system they will expand to have neurological issues such as mental clarity and fatigue.  As the colon becomes more permeable, they will develop allergies.  Digestive issues will turn into pain, chronic bowel or digestive complaints, possibly nausea, gas, bloating and irritable bowel syndrome.

Peripheral Problems
Candida and toxic metabolites in their digestive system.  These clients have more noticeable digestive issues including multiple food allergies that may cause major reactions, possibly food intolerance and a significantly chronic leaky gut.

These clients are often tired and can feel “spaced out” at times.  Brian fog, depression, anxiety as well as adrenal fatigue will also be reported. Some will report recurrent vaginal thrush, bladder or prostate irritation, problems with muscles or joints. ; others may have bladder or prostate irritation.  Clients like these are generally on antidipressants or other medications to fix their systems, but do not address (or sometimes even try to find the root cause).

Vaginal Yeast Infection
A recurring vaginal yeast infection, with little or no digestive or yeast issues.  These clients generally include a history of being on the pill or antibiotics.   They may or may not have any digestive issues, which is why it goes untreated sometimes for 20 years or more.

Candidiasis
The symptoms of this vary and unless your are looking for Candida.  Areas affected would include toenail fungus, vaginal thrush, bowel issues, brain fog, depression and irritability. Symptoms like these all found in one person will have more serious gut yeast issues.

These kinds will have been on several types of drugs over their chronic problem. They will include antidepressants, sleeping pills, antibiotics, antihistamines and steroid creams. Clients with chronic or severe candidiasis may take up to 2 years to heal.  They will often need to pay particular attention to their diet, nutrition and will benefit from herbal remedies as well.

If not healed this person will have major digestive, urinary issues, vaginal thrush and toenail fungus.  As they get older, and remain untreated for candida in addition to cleansing the yeast they will have to detox from the drug residues from the years of suppressive drug taking.  This will result in aggravation from the client. These cases can take 3-4 years to fully treat.

Yeast overgrowth is considered to be a leading contributor also in:

  • alcoholism
  • anxiety disorders

  • autism
  • cfs – chronic fatigue syndrom
  • leaky gut syndrome
  • pms
  • endometriosis
  • fms – fibromyalgia syndrome
  • prostatitis
  • attention deficit disorder
  • multiple sclerosis
  • asthma
  • food allergies
  • muscle and joint pain
  • clinical depression
  • repeated urinary tract infections
  • hormonal imbalances
  • migraines
  • digestive disturbances
  • difficult menopause psoriasis
  • lupus
  • chronic pain
  • tourette’s
  • vulvodynia
  • rheumatoid arthritis

Probiotics are key to getting candida under control, along with diet and herbs or remedies to also kill off the candida.  There are many diets and programs that can be used to eliminate candida issues.  It is also important to note that antibiotics kill the probiotics in your system along with the candida or yeast. So anytime you take antibiotics you should follow up with a month or two supply of probiotics to assure yeast does not reoccur..
